This is a technical guide for the T1C Generic Connector Library (T1C GCL). The T1C GCL is a native application that runs in the background and exposes a REST enabled API that allows the browser to communicate with the host system. The goal of the T1C GCL is to provide access to hardware and functionality that is normally not available from within the browser (i.e. card readers) in a OS-independent way.
For this to work the T1C GCL has to be installed first on the host system.
At the moment the T1C GCL API consists out of four parts:
This guide will explain the API in more detail. The technical API specification is available in github (https://github.com/Trust1Team/cpp-gcl-core) as a YAML file. With each release it is updated to match the implementation.
