Track AI bot crawlers and LLM referral traffic to your documentation.

GitHub Copilot dialog with a question about how the GitBook API can be used in Node.js

Overview

DevTune AI Traffic tracks which AI bots crawl your documentation and which
AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot) send visitors.

How it works

A lightweight (~1KB) tracking beacon fires on each page view using
navigator.sendBeacon(). No cookies. No PII. Only page metadata and
user agent are transmitted for server-side bot/referral classification.

Configure

  1. Sign up at devtune.ai and create a project

  2. Go to AI Traffic Settings and copy your snippet key

  3. Install this integration on your GitBook site

  4. Paste your snippet key (format: dt_xxxxxxxxxxxx)
