Answer team questions and draft doc updates directly from Slack threads, without leaving the conversation.
Connect Slack to bring GitBook Assistant and GitBook Agent into your team's existing conversations. Once connected, anyone can mention @GitBook in a channel or thread to get answers pulled directly from your docs, or to kick off a change request without leaving Slack.
Run it in Support agent mode to let GitBook answer questions from your team or users in real time. Switch to Collaborator mode to let GitBook Agent draft documentation updates from thread context — with the resulting change request automatically linked back to the originating thread.
To add Slack as a channel, open your site's Settings → Channels and select Slack.
