New this month: GitBook Agent in your editor, AI insights go deeper, and integrations in reusable content

Product updates

4 Jun, 2026

Keeping docs up to date is already much less manual than it used to be. In May we pushed that further.

GitBook Agent now works inside the editor

You can now invoke GitBook Agent directly inside the editor, so you can implement change requests without switching context. Spot something that needs updating? The Agent handles it inline, right where you’re working.

Filter AI questions by channel

AI insights now lets you filter questions by channel type, so you can segment traffic from different sources and understand where your readers are actually getting stuck. This one’s for Ultimate plan users only.

Integration blocks now work inside reusable content

You can now embed integration blocks inside reusable content. If you’re using integrations across multiple pages, you no longer have to add them individually — set it up once in a reusable block and it carries through everywhere that block is used.

That’s not all…
